Anticipation has been brewing for CRAFT by Side Hustle and after a successful soft opening period CRAFT has announced that on February 2nd, 2024, Abu Dhabi’s inaugural microbrewery and gastropub will officially open in The Galleria, Al Maryah Island. Born from the passion to introduce a distinctive concept to the region, CRAFT promises a revolutionary artisanal food and beverage experience for UAE residents and visitors.
Created locally in partnership between CRAFT LTD and Side Hustle Brews & Spirits, CRAFT by Side Hustle is Abu Dhabi’s new and exciting lifestyle destination for the community welcoming both beverage enthusiasts and true foodies alike. Whether stopping in for quick lunch, a relaxing drink after work with colleagues, or a games night with friends, the artisanal brewpub is the new hangout for those who appreciate bo flavors, innovation, and artisanal creations.
CRAFT offers a casual and social setting with an ever-evolving menu. The restaurant serves freshly prepared baked goods daily and features a Southern US and Louisiana-inspired menu, including a full smokehouse offering, as well as traditional favourites. Guests can indulge in signature dishes like smoked brisket, burnt ends, Cajun po’boys, jambalaya, and shrimp and grits, all paired perfectly with its freshly brewed beverages, which change regularly so there’s always something new to try!
As the region’s first-ever microbrewery, all the action can be witnessed by patrons. CRAFT produces freshly brewed hops, unique cocktails, and specialty coffee. The microbrewery expects to create up to seventy-five craft beers, as well as its own flavored hard seltzers, ginger beer and tonic water, in addition to serving Side Hustle signature gin, rum, and whiskey. Still and sparkling water will be served as complementary to all guests, which has been purified using the same carbon technology as the brewery.
The design of the venue is reflective of its artisanal identity. The archway is made from its very own brewery barrels, and the furniture has been hand built by specialist carpenters both locally and internationally, with a feature mural painting designed and executed by UAE based artist aAleksandra Sova
Guests can expect southern-style live music, exceptional Happy Hours, stand-up comedy, quiz nights, afternoon catch-ups on the promenade, and tech-enabled games such as Augmented Reality Darts, all while enjoying freshness and flavour like never before.
