SOON Nobby x True Izakaya

Weekend brunch enthusiasts are in for a treat as SOON Nobby x True Izakaya, the ultra-hip and vibrant Japanese restaurant and izakaya spot located in the heart of JLT, launches their new Akihabara Brunch, available every Saturday between 2pm to 5pm.

Known as Tokyo’s “Electric Town” and for its devotion to anime, SOON Nobby x True Izakaya’s new brunch menu precisely embodies the vibrant and dynamic energy of the pop culture paradise - Akihabara, mirroring the restaurant’s own ‘otaku’ inspired interiors and its effortless retro-charm. Diners are promised to be transported to the bustling quarters of Central Tokyo with an intricately designed brunch menu, with options of cold or hot starters, mains and desserts. Paired with a selection of soft and alcoholic beverages akin to those served at an authentic Japanese pub, diners can expect a gastronomic expedition of flavours.

Guests can experience the electric vibes of Akihabara plate by plate, choosing on whether to start on a cool note with cold starters such as the Scallop Crudo, Potato Somen & Onsen Egg Salad, Chirashi Temaki, Shima Aji Usuzukiri or to warm up their appetite by exploring hot starters such as the Crispy Eggplant Mochi, BBQ Chicken Onigiri and Tamago Sando accompanied with BBQ Edamame seasoned with Yukari Salt or House Chili Sauce.

Moving on to the mains, guests can indulge in a Japanese Curry with three options to choose from including braised beef, chicken katsu or vegetarian or the Japanese Mushroom Claypot Rice with King Oyster, Shiitake, Mushroom Ginger Sauce and Koshihikari Rice accompanied with house pickles. Promising a sweet surprise to end the brunch experience is a decadent dessert specially created by Head Chef Brian Hoang for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.
