Editor's Review

Roberto's sits as one of the quieter spots to enjoy brunch in DIFC, and while its vibe is certainly more relaxed, there's no downtime happening in the kitchen. Dishes are brought out in quick succession, and the crowd of sharing plates on the table evokes feelings of large family-style gatherings where generous bites of each dish are the norm. Starting off with a platter of local oysters is certainly our favorite way to kick off a brunch, but the plump burrata and seabream carpaccio are early winners as well. A small pizza dotted with more burrata and anchovies is another hit, along with the baked eggplant in a luscious tomato sauce. For mains, opt for the tortello pasta with truffle cream sauce or the oven-baked sea bass to share. A spectacular dessert platter with plenty of sweet choices ends the meal, matched only by the steady pour of house offerings and cocktails.
