Dubai Creek Harbour welcomes a new Saturday ritual as Kiyoshi, the contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar, launches its Blooming Brunch starting April 2024. Every Saturday from 1PM to 5PM, the brunch invites guests to savour artfully crafted Japanese sharing plates, signature cocktails, and upbeat energy in one of Dubai’s most picturesque waterfront settings.
The menu is designed for social dining, with plates made to be shared and enjoyed over a leisurely afternoon, with packages starting from AED 255 for soft beverages, AED 375 for house pours, and AED 395 for the sparkling option. Brunch goers can begin with light yet flavour-packed starters such as the Bluefin Tuna Tartare with avocado, smoked tuna tosazu, and seaweed vinaigrette; the Charred Corn Salad tossed with romaine, seaweed, ponzu mayo, and cashews; and a Kushiyaki Selection featuring chicken thigh, eggplant, and Chilean seabass. Other highlights include the Fried Kimchi Tofu Gyoza with ginger soy aïoli, and Okonomiyaki-style Prawn Toast, followed by a generous Sushi Selection Platter.
For mains, guests can choose from the Roasted Scallop Donburi with beef bacon and volcano rice; the velvety Butternut Squash Misoyaki, paired with black sesame purée and pomegranate mint pesto; the Panca Miso Cod with hijiki and hoba leaf; or the indulgent Beef Tenderloin with Japanese sabayon. To end on a sweet note, the brunch offers a trio of desserts including the Chocolate Fondant with coconut ice cream and coco crumble, the Pistachio Praline Choux with sweet miso anglaise and raspberry, and an Assortment of Mochi Ice Cream, offering a refreshing finish.
The drinks are equally bold and crafted to complement the menu’s playful yet elevated flavour profiles. Standouts include the Flamingle, a tropical mix of Four Roses Bourbon, plum wine, peach cordial, salmu, lemon bitters, and soda water; the Me Espresso, a bold fusion of dark rum, banana liqueur, Tia Maria, miso caramel syrup, espresso, and cocoa bitters; and the Kiyoshi, a refreshing blend of London Dry Gin, green apple and vanilla syrup, junmai sake, lychee, and lemon juice.
