Jun’s, the pioneering restaurant that operates without borders, is hosting an extraordinary one-off event for all gastronomes to enjoy. Multi-award-winning Chef Kelvin Cheung is partnering up with the renowned Chef Himanshu Saini of Tresind Studio, for an incredible evening filled with mouthwatering food and upbeat settings.
Located at Jun’s restaurant on Downtown Dubai’s Boulevard, the much-awaited chef collaboration will take place on Monday, the 16th of October. The ticketed dinner of twelve sensational dishes split between both chefs will start at 7pm, with bar snacks and cocktails open to the public from 10pm onwards. Tresind Studio’s award-winning manager and team of kitchen and bar staff will also be joining for the service, making for an unforgettable evening unlike any other.
Frontiers in the culinary industry and with astonishing accolades behind each of them including Dubai’s Michelin Guide, MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, and Gault & Millau Awards, the upscale event certainly promises to be nothing short of exceptional. Chef Kelvin will be bringing his famed flair and electic mix of elevated dishes, while Chef Himanshu of Tresind Studio, Dubai’s innovative, fine-dining Indian restaurant, will be cooking outside of his usual realm as he prepares a more informal menu for the special occasion. With both chefs taking care of the food, DJ Jeff of StickNoBills will be setting the vibe with third-culture kid remixes, perfectly entertaining the guests throughout the evening.
The two iconic chefs will be serving each of their six dishes alternatively while guests experience the elegant service and unique surroundings. Chef Kelvin’s array of dishes will include Root Vegetables Okoy, Cashew Cheese sauce, Kaluga Caviar; Gyu Onigiri, Mb 10 Ribeye, Jalapeno, Crispy Garlic, Nama Oroshi Wasabi; Zataar Scallion Kulcha Pancake with Burrata; King Crab Rangoon, Amchoor Ki Chutney Brown Butter; Mapo Wagyu Beef Cheeks With Tofu Sauce; and Smoked Saffron Pineapple, Soya Sauce Ice Cream, Brown Butter Sponge, Coconut Pandan Cream.
Chef Himanshu’s six dishes will feature Blossom Chaat, Pumpkin Mash, Chaat Seasoning; Shrimp Dumpling, Alleppey Curry, Trio of Chutney; Lobster Claw, Butter Pepper Garlic Sauce; Lamb Birria Taco, Bone Curry; Halal Guys Chicken Over Rice; and Gorgonzola Cheesecake, Black Sesame Chikki, Tropical Sunflower.
