Jun’s, Downtown Dubai’s culinary hotspot has introduced four new flavours to its mouthwatering selection of Kelvin Cakes. Following high demand, the third culture dining venue has added Carrot, Mango, Hong, and Mallow, to the delicious cake menu.
Kelvin Cakes are inspired by Chef Kelvin Cheung’s Chinese heritage and North American upbringing, paying homage to the traditional sugar sponge cake but adding a Kelvin style twist! The four new additions to the menu include Carrot, Mango, Hong, and Mallow. The Carrot cake features spiced carrot pineapple sponge, buttercream, spiced white chocolate crumble, cream cheese frosting, spiced crumble, and candied walnuts. Mango comprises brown butter vanilla sponge, mango, vanilla mousse, mango liquid cheesecake, rosemary meringue, white chocolate crumble, and passionfruit.
The third new flavour, Hong (the Chinese character for red). Combining red velvet sponge, buttercream, cream cheese frosting, and house baked oreos. Finally, the sweet Mallow cake features chocolate sponge, pastry cream, white chocolate crumble, sea salt caramel, dark chocolate ganache, and mallow. These four new flavours accompany the existing flavours: Bai, Peanut, Coffee, Ube, Pina Colada, Cookie, Pistachio, and Strawberry.
Jun’s continues to advance its menu based on guest’s input; this forward-thinking concept is led by Chef Kelvin Cheung himself to help stay at the forefront of the culinary space. His refined skills and wealth of experience captures the essence of North American Asian flavours flawlessly, ensuring that the venue always delivers quality service with precision cuisine. The artistic menu paired with the elegant atmosphere, is not to be missed.
