
Known for her passion for creating unique an intimate dining experiences across Dubai, Chef Gabriella Chamorro has teamed up with Fairmont The Palm to host a series of exclusive dinners at Seagrill Bistro, the hotel’s beachside Mediterranean restaurant.
Originally from Nicaragua, Chef Gabriela also known as ‘Girl & The Goose’ rose to fame for her storytelling cooking technique as she takes her guests through a sensorial journey using food as her medium. Her menus are inspired by traditional Nicaraguan recipes and her extensive travels around the world.
This June, chef Gabriela will begin a four-day residency at Seagrill, Fairmont The Palm between 6th and 9th June where diners and tastemakers are set to experience an elevated à la carte menu that combines home recipes with stories and inspirations from all over the world with an emphasize on traditional Nicaraguan flavours, cultures and stories close to the Middle East. Furthermore, for her final evening on 9th June she will host an intimate set menu where for just AED 395 guests can enjoy the finest flavours and selected grape from the free-flow sommelier selection and soft beverages. So, make sure you don’t miss out on this once-off unique dining event.
The menus provide dinners with ‘little cravings’ or antojitos. To begin with guests can choose from dishes such seabass ceviche with passion fruit and jalapeno, tuna tostada with avocado and a spicy emulsion or chicken pibil dumplings with chimichurri sauce and topped with pickled ginger. This is followed by main dishes such as Arroz Aguado with scallops, coconut foam, coriander oil and crispy sage then guests can end the evening on a sweet note with a classic tres leches alongside caramelized pineapple and mango sorbet.
Known for being an innovative storyteller and having travelled the world to immerse herself in diverse culinary practices, chef Gabriela now brings guests on a sensorial experience like no other through the dishes she creates.
Guests can join the ‘Girl and the Goose’ A La Carte dinner on the 6th – 8th June from 6.00-10.30pm, or opt for the set menu dinner on the 9th of June from 7pm onwards. The full menus can be viewed here.
