Renowned for its impeccable Japanese cuisine, TakaHisa presents this unique 6-Hand Dinner event alongside acclaimed Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura of Maido who ranked #6 in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023. This 2-day occasion will unite 3 extraordinary culinary talents under one roof for an experience like never before.
Guests are invited to select three seating times: 3 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm at TakaHisa on the 9th and 10th of November. This once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience features an eight to ten-course Omakase menu artfully created by 3 world-renowned chefs – Sushi Chef Takashi Namekata, Beef Master Chef Hisao Ueda, and visiting Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura. Each dish is meticulously crafted using premium ingredients sourced from Japan’s Toyosu Fish Market and the highest-grade Kobe beef. The menu will feature a blend of Nikkei and Japanese dishes highlighting the best of both cuisines.
General Manager, Mika Ueda commented on the event, “The inspiration behind the collaboration was based on the celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Peru.” Sushi Chef Takashi Namekata, Beef Master Chef Hisao Ueda further state, “It is vital to recall that there was a significant Japanese population that migrated to Peru in the late 19th century. Today the Peruvian-Japanese community stands as the largest in Spanish-speaking Latin America, fully integrated into Peruvian society but with links to Japanese heritage.”
