Having served up the finest Italian dishes over the last three decades, Casa Mia celebrates 30 years in the city with a two-night-only five-course tasting menu, curated by Michelin-recognised chef, Domenico Iavarone. A trattoria so authentic you’ll think you’re actually in Italy, Casa Mia has been serving up classico dishes since 1993 and continues to ooze authentic ‘La Dolce Vita’ vibes with its framed black-and-white pictures of Italian culture lining the walls and chic white linen tablecloths.
Originally from Casavatore in the province of Naples, Domenico Iavarone has entered his third season at the helm of Maxi restaurant, located at the Capo la Gala hotel in Vico Equens, where it was recently awarded 1 Michelin star. “A truly memorable place to eat, thanks to its stunning views of the sea and the coast and its creative Mediterranean cuisine. Ingredients from Campania take pride of place, with a focus on vegetables prepared either traditionally or with more daring techniques, resulting in dishes that are full of color.” comments Michelin Guide.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional trattorias, and his current restaurants, Domenico has curated a five-course tasting menu, available for two nights during the month of November in celebration of its pearl anniversary. In a homage to the delicate Mediterranean touches Maxi isknown for, Iavarone’s menu will serve culinary delights to include;
